The Camasp is a popular Assassin.
Assassinate is an ability introduced in Insect Invasion that enables a combined creature to instantly remove a large portion of a single foe's health, regardless of their stats. When it was first introduced, the amount of damage Assassination dealt was based on the size of the creature using it;
- Sizes 1, 2 and 3 dealt 75% damage.
- Sized 4, 5 and 6 dealt 65% damage.
- Sizes 7, 8, 9 and 10 dealt 50% damage.
In Creature Chaos, Assassination always deals 40% damage to foes but in any case, Assassins must be carefully micromanaged. To be able use this ability, a creature must first have a completely full endurance bar. Assassination is also a triggered ability, and as such it will not be used unless the player orders it. Finally, the creature must then come within melee range of its target to apply the damage.
Assassination is often used as a last resort against especially dangerous Loners, because it is one of the few attacks that still deals its full damage against them. If a player has three Assassins, they can instantly kill any one creature.

Assassinate's in-game information incorrectly states that it will eliminate an enemy creature. This is likely part of a beta design that was accidentallly left in the game.
