Description[]
Slow with an average attack and the desert biome limitation, the Armadillo’s saving grace is its incredibly strong armor and its ability to curl up intoan invulnerable armored ball. Combined, this creature can produce formidable combinations, but on its own it is a low cost creature. The Armadillo is stout with short legs and sharp claws, but is best known for its body armor—a hard, horny covering, hinged for flexibility. When under attack, it rolls up in a ball and is invulnerable to attack. With this heavy body and limited flexibility, the Armadillo is much less mobile than other small creatures. It's also less cunning and less exploratory and quite lazy. (Its distant cousin is the sloth. An Armadillo sleeps 19 hours a day, hunting by night. The Armadillo is solitary by nature.
Strategic Value[]
The Armadillo’s tough shell gives it one of the highest defense ratings in the game, second only to the Snapping Turtle. This makes Armadillo combinations nearly impervious to damage, but beware of creatures with piercing attacks, like horns or quill attacks.
